'YOU' ARE MY BOOK IN PROGRESS....
THE BRIDGE: A Field Guide to Raising Brave, Globally Minded Children.
A field guide to raising brave, globally-minded kids. Learn how to ditch the "cotton wool" and cultivate a fearless perspective in an unpredictable world.
A LITTLE BIT RISKY
We live in a world that tells us to pull back, to fear the "risky," and to insulate our families from the edges of life. But I’ve learned that the most profound growth doesn’t happen in the center of the comfort zone—it happens on the edge.
My life hasn't been about avoiding the uncertain; it’s been about walking directly toward it. From the salt-crusted reality of running a dive center in the Red Sea to navigating the complex, high-pressure life of a military spouse and mother of four, I’ve learned that fear doesn’t have to be a stop sign. It can be a compass.
THE BRIDGE is my collection of stories, science, and strategies about those edges. It’s for the parent who wants to raise "superhumans"—not in the sense of being perfect, but in the sense of being courageous, resilient, and ready to face whatever life throws their way.
